Senator Darron S. Pickstock
As a dedicated member of the Bahamas Senate since 2021, Senator Darron Pickstock brings both legislative expertise and executive leadership to his service of the Bahamian people. In his dual role as Senator and Executive Chairman of the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC), Senator Pickstock champions critical initiatives for national food security and economic self-sufficiency. Recognizing that nearly 90 percent of the Bahamas’ food is imported, he has been a vocal advocate for agricultural development and industrial growth that will strengthen the nation’s economic foundation. Through his work in the Senate and his leadership at BAIC, Senator Pickstock continues to push for policies and programs that reduce the country’s dependence on imports while creating sustainable opportunities for Bahamian farmers and entrepreneurs.
